Job Summary

As a CAD Drafter at Waterland Services, you will create and maintain detailed mechanical and electrical engineering drawings to support project design and execution, collaborating closely with engineers and design teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical engineering projects to support design and construction needs
• Produce dimensional and non-dimensional layout drawings to accurately represent project specifications
• Revise and update drawings based on engineers’ instructions and feedback to ensure design accuracy
• Collaborate effectively with design team members to coordinate project assignments and deliverables
• Manage the receipt, registration, filing, and distribution of engineering documents to maintain organized project records
• Generate computer-aided drawings including isometrics, details, plans, schedules, and data sheets to support engineering workflows
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Reporting Supervisor to support project and team objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) to produce and modify engineering drawings
• Basic knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support design integration
• Minimum 1 year of experience producing mechanical engineering drawings
• Basic understanding of water filtration systems used in swimming pools to inform accurate drawing development
