CMC APAC Hiring! Full Time Technical Operations Engineer in - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Technical Operations Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore. You will be responsible for building, operating and optimising the technical systems behind our products – working hand-in-hand with the development team to ensure stability, security and performance.

This is a hybrid TechOps / DevOps / backend engineering role. If you enjoy the operational side of modern web stacks and are excited to bring GenAI tooling into the day-to-day development workflow, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

•       Deploy, manage and optimise applications built with Node.js, React.js and Next.js.

•       Manage AWS Cloud infrastructure and operate containerised applications with Docker.

•       Design, administer and optimise databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis.

•       Integrate and manage GitHub Copilot to improve developer productivity.

•       Explore and implement Generative AI (GenAI) solutions into systems and applications.

•       Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability (uptime).

•       Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to streamline workflows.

•       Propose and apply DevOps / TechOps best practices.

•       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

•       Over 4 years of experience in Technical Operations, DevOps or Backend Engineering.

•       Proficiency in Node.js, React.js and Next.js.

•       Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

•       Strong knowledge of Docker and containerised environments.

•       Working experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis.

•       Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and its application in development workflows.

•       Strong problem-solving mindset with good communication and teamwork skills.

•       Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) projects or tools.

•       Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.

•       Observability experience (CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).

•       Hands-on role across a modern web stack and AWS cloud operations.

•       Genuine mandate to drive GenAI and GitHub Copilot adoption into the engineering workflow.

•       Collaborative team that values DevOps culture, automation and ownership.
