Job Descriptions

  • Company is looking for an operationally-driven Farm Production Manager to lead our high-tech greenhouse cultivation facility.
  • You possess experience in urban system management (hydroponic/loT) focusing on yield optimization, pest control & harvesting. You will lead daily operations of our greenhouse farm, focusing on precision agriculture and sustainable urban food security.
  • Or you do not have an agriculture background; we need your expertise in process optimization, factory discipline, and team leadership. You will treat our crops like high-value manufactured goods, ensuring the "data-driven production" runs with maximum efficiency and zero downtime.
  • The Farm Production Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end operations of a high-tech greenhouse farming facility. This role ensures efficient, data-driven production processes to achieve optimal yield, quality, and operational performance, while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
  • 1. Operations & Production Management
  • Oversee daily farm operations across the full cultivation cycle (seeding to harvesting to packaging).
  • Plan and manage crop scheduling to ensure consistent, year-round production.
  • Ensure production targets, timelines, and quality standards are achieved.
  • 2. Systems & Technology Management
  • Manage automated systems including fertigation, LED lighting, and climate control.
  • Monitor and analyse operational data (e.g. IoT sensors, yield metrics) to optimise performance.
  • 3. Process Improvement & Efficiency
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Apply Lean principles to optimize resource utilization, energy consumption, and manpower efficiency.
  • 4. Quality, Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g. ISO22000, HACCP, SFA requirements).
  • Maintain strict biosecurity, hygiene, and operational protocols.
  • 5.Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, supervise, and develop a team of supervisors and operational staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • 6. Inventory, Reporting & Coordination
  • Manage inventory of raw materials (e.g. nutrients, seeds, packaging).
  • Prepare regular operational reports on production, quality, and performance.
  • Investigate operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in hydroponics, vertical farming, or agronomy; OR
  • Minimum 8 years in manufacturing/operations (F&B, electronics, pharmaceutical industries).
  • Familiarity with automated systems, IoT sensors, and climate-controlled environments.
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems and process automation is preferred.
  • Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agri-Tech, Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong operational discipline with a results-driven mindset.
  • Passion for sustainable agriculture and food production.

  • Working arrangement: 5.5 days’ work week.
