️ Your Role & Impact

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to detect injury, disease, abnormalities, and vision defects

• Operate advanced diagnostic equipment, including slit-lamp biomicroscopy, fundus camera, OCT, non-contact tonometer, and Humphrey visual field analyser

• Clearly explain examination findings and provide professional advice and reassurance

• Recommend suitable optical aids tailored to patients’ needs and lifestyle

• Prepare referrals to ophthalmologists when medical intervention is required

• Guide first-time contact lens wearers on proper handling and care

• Troubleshoot and adjust spectacle and ophthalmic lens fittings

• Maintain accurate patient records and purchase history

• Oversee inventory of contact lenses, trial lenses, and solutions

• Ensure all clinical equipment is properly maintained

• Supervise and mentor junior Optometrists and Opticians

• Support branch operations with ad-hoc duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Optometry

• Eligible for provisional, conditional, or full registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB)

• Strong clinical competency with excellent communication and patient care skills
