You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of modern, AI-driven systems, working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to support high-impact platforms used across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide end-to-end application and production support for AI-driven platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis across applications, services, and data pipelines.

• Support deployment activities and environment management, working closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth releases.

• Investigate and resolve technical issues using logs, scripts, and system tools across distributed environments.

• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to diagnose issues and implement sustainable solutions.

• Participate in incident management processes, including escalation, tracking, and post-incident reviews.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, including automation, monitoring enhancements, and system optimisation.

• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures to ensure effective knowledge sharing and support continuity.

Requirements

Must Have:

• 5-10 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT support within a technology-driven environment.

• Hands-on experience or exposure to: – Python (scripting, debugging, automation) and Linux / Unix systems (command line, log analysis, system operations).

• Experience supporting enterprise applications, APIs, or data-driven systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to AI / machine learning platforms and/or data pipelines.

• Experience in agentic AI / generative AI / RAG.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Git-based pipelines, Jenkins or similar tools).

• Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments.

• Understanding of monitoring tools, system observability, or incident management practices.

• Leadership experiences at working settings.

• Prior experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
