Job Responsibilities

1. System Architecture: Design and develop robust, scalable backend services and RESTful/gRPC APIs aligned with business and technical requirements.

2. Cloud & DevOps: Deploy, operate, and maintain microservices on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and smooth releases.

3. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize application performance, including SQL/NoSQL database query tuning, indexing, and service-level improvements.

4. Security First: Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and JWT, and ensure systems follow data privacy/compliance requirements.

5. Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative fixes and monitoring.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Backend Programming Developer, with a proven track record of delivering successful applications

3. Knowledge in adopting AI, e.g. Claude, Langchain, etc.

4. Proficient in at least one front-end framework (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js) and one back-end framework (e.g. RUST, Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails)

5. Solid understanding of databases, RESTful APIs, and web architecture patterns

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

7. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

8. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
