Job Description

Responsibilities

Human Resource Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a HR & Administration team of 4 staff
  • Handle full spectrum of HR functions for retail outlets and head office, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, resignation, and offboarding
  • Prepare and review employment contracts, HR letters, warning letters, and employee related documentation
  • Oversee and approval of monthly employee attendance, leave records and payroll and commission/incentive calculations
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore MOM regulations, Employment Act requirements, and internal company policies
  • Maintain proper employee records and confidential HR documents
  • Coordinate and conduct employee performance reviews, counselling sessions, and engagement initiatives
  • Handle staff disciplinary matters and assist in resolving outlet employee issues and grievance management
  • Work closely with management and department heads on manpower planning and operational support
  • Liaise with government agencies where required (e.g. MOM, CPF, IRAS)

Office Administration Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth administrative workflow
  • Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and vendor management
  • Assist management with reports, operational coordination, and ad-hoc administrative tasks
  • Assist management in implementing company policies and operational initiatives
  • Maintain workplace discipline, professionalism, and proper office conduct across departments
  • Support ad-hoc projects assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in HR role, including experience managing and leading a team
  • Experience working in SMEs and/or retail outlet environments will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with Singapore MOM regulations and HR practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with management, outlet managers, and various stakeholders professionally and effectively
  • Possess high emotional intelligence (EQ) and good problem-solving skills in handling employee and operational matters
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential matters professionally
