Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable systems to support software delivery
• Build, maintain, and monitor development pipelines to ensure quality, security, and rapid deployment
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes to streamline development operations
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional agile development teams to deliver software solutions
• Provision and manage multiple application environments to enable efficient application deployments
• Drive continuous improvement in software delivery through build automation, test automation, and CI/CD practices
• Set up application monitoring and actionable alerts to support development team operations
• Automate system operations processes including backup, recovery, and patching
  
  

Required Competencies And Certifications

• Experience working with modern web application technologies such as Node.js and ReactJS
• Proficient in software version control workflows using Git
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS
• Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts
• Skilled in DevOps tools including Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and shell scripting
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Extreme Programming
  
  

Preferred Competencies And Qualifications

• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker
• Knowledge of network administration including VLAN, subnets, routing, proxies, load balancers, and DNS configuration
• Working knowledge of complex web hosting components including firewalls, load balancers, web servers, application servers, and database servers
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience preferred
• Personal traits: independent, self-driven, curious, and open to new ideas
