Job Description

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and drive the overall training and development strategy aligned to business goals
  • Partner with the GM on workforce capability planning and operational excellence initiatives
  • Lead transformation and continuous improvement programs across training and operations

Training & Curriculum Governance

  • Oversee, implement and improve design and enhancement of training programs
  • Establish standardised training frameworks, methodologies, and assessment models
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, safety and organisational standards

Instructor Capability & Workforce Development

  • Lead instructor development, coaching frameworks, and certification standards
  • Identify gaps and implement structured development plans
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on quality, safety, and customer experience

Performance Management & Analytics

  • Analyse, define and track KPIs (student feedback, pass rates, productivity)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to uplift instructor performance
  • Provide insights and recommendations to GM for decision-making
  • Drive organisation-wide improvement initiatives using data
  • Implement corrective actions and track progress

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce quality assurance and audit frameworks
  • Conduct audits, observations, and spot checks on training delivery
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant guidelines
  • Oversee and maintain safety standards and risk management practices

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies, recommend enhancements and drive process optimisation initiatives
  • Standardise best practices across instructors and training delivery
  • Explore and introduce innovative and modern training methodologies

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage the Training & improvement team
  • Collaborate with Operations on performance management
  • Provide and Present regular updates and strategic recommendations to GM

Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare regular reports on training outcomes, performance trends, and improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and ensure proper governance, audit readiness, and documentation
