About the Role

Responsibilities include sourcing for and procurement of materials, equipment, services from reliable suppliers at the best possible prices.

Responsibilities

• Defining and implementing an effective purchasing strategy and improvement programs
• Evaluation of suppliers’ performance (such as timely delivery, competitive pricing, quality of product and services) in compliance with ISO requirements
• Effective management of the store to achieve optimum and dependable inventory levels
• Managing staff development and improvement in the department

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation skills
• Possess Degree in Business Administration, Economics or any related field
• Have at least 5 years related working experience in local or overseas procurement in a manufacturing environment (managerial role)
• Experience in managing people
• Must be able to work independently
• Good organization and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
• Willing to work at Banting area (near KLIA, Sepang)
