Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that all products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. The role involves inspection, documentation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities within a mechanical manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures in accordance with company and customer requirements
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Review and approve inspection reports, route cards, and quality records
  • Handle non-conformance (NCR), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Perform root cause analysis and support improvement initiatives
  • Support customer audits, internal audits, and supplier audits
  • Liaise with production, engineering, and suppliers on quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with ISO / customer quality standards and drawings

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and inspection tools (e.g. vernier, micrometer, CMM is an advantage)
  • Familiar with quality systems such as ISO 9001 / AS9100 (advantage)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills (Advantage)

  • Experience in aerospace / precision engineering environment
  • Knowledge of NDT, FAI, PPAP, or customer-specific requirements
  • Audit experience (internal or external)

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of QA experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to read mechanical drawings and use basic inspection tools
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality systems (advantage)
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
