Job Summary

You will provide expert administrative support to the Production/Processing Department, assisting engineers, managers, and supervisors with daily production operations and ensuring smooth coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to production inquiries via calls and emails to support team communication
• Update and maintain accurate production data and review production records and orders to ensure data integrity
• Organize and maintain proper filing and archival of departmental documents for easy retrieval
• Issue production drawings to relevant departments to facilitate manufacturing processes
• Prepare purchase orders by verifying item specifications and prices to support procurement accuracy
• Obtain and evaluate supplier recommendations for substitute items to maintain production continuity
• Secure approvals from requisitioning departments to comply with internal controls
• Assist in obtaining supplier quotations to support cost-effective purchasing decisions
• Handle customer quotation inquiries to support sales and customer service teams
• Follow up on ongoing projects to track progress and resolve issues promptly
• Coordinate production schedules to align resources and meet deadlines
• Enter data accurately into the ERP system and perform filing, photocopying, and scanning tasks to support documentation needs
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment to support numerous simultaneous productions
