Job Duties

• Support data integration between the firm’s core trading platforms, wealth management systems, mobile applications, and enterprise data lake.
• Design and maintain stable, secure, and efficient data exchange processes
• Providing Level 2 production support and collaborating closely with infrastructure teams, business users, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Working closely with the application team (Backoffice)
• Experience in financial institute with strong knowledge in operation workflow of Securities/Futures and Derivatives Trading and Wealth Management systems
• Proficiency in RESTful API design, JSON/XML data transformation, SQL and scripting using Python, .NET, or equivalent technologies.
• Solid experience with Azure Cloud, OpenShift, and containerized application environments.
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar streaming technologies for real-time data processing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) and automated rollout procedures.
• Strong skills in designing automated test units and performing system stress/load testing.
• Writing clean and reusable code
• Embracing the ambiguity of research by constantly learning new technologies
• Collaborating in an agile, cross-functional team to rapidly deliver software systems
• Synthesizing customer requirements, prioritize solutions, and demonstrate the grit needed to deliver
• exceptional value to the customer.
• ~5 years of experience in cloud development, migration and integration of application and services
• Ability to work with languages and frameworks including C#, JavaScript, HTML5, React
• Strong practical application development experience on Linux and Windows based systems
• Experience integrating with wealth management or portfolio management systems.
• Working knowledge of data lake frameworks and mobile data interaction.
• Understanding of HK SFC and SG MAS regulatory and operational guidelines related to trading and wealth management systems.
• Exposure to brokerage or private banking operations

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per month
