Purpose of the role:
Work with the team to conduct compliance review and monitoring for ensuring that the Bank conducts its business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
What you will be doing:
Assist the Head of Compliance Strategy & Testing to oversee the function of FCC testing
Work with the team to conduct compliance review and monitoring (including branch visit, thematic review in relation to AML/CFT etc.) across the Bank based on the approved annual compliance review plan
Advise senior management and relevant units on compliance issues and potential impact
Oversee the implementation progress of recommendations on compliance issues and findings identified
Assist in planning, developing and designing the compliance monitoring programs
Assist in reporting issues identified in compliance monitoring, external examination / self-assessment to the management
Handle ad-hoc tasks in relation to compliance monitoring
What are we looking for:
A degree in any disciplines, preferably major in Laws, Finance or Accounting
8 years in compliance, audit and related fields with hands-on experience in compliance
ECF in Professional level and Role 1 of AML/CFT is an advantage
Sound knowledge in banking services and well versed with the contemporary regulatory requirements e.g. AML Ordinance, HKMA, circulars and guidelines etc
Self-motivated, good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
