Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a critical role in aligning the organization’s human resources strategies with its overall business objectives. Acting as a strategic advisor, the HRBP collaborates closely with both management and employees to ensure HR initiatives drive business success, strengthen employee engagement, and enhance organizational performance. By leveraging a deep understanding of the business landscape, the HRBP fosters a productive work environment and ensures the organization has the right talent to meet short-term priorities and long-term goals.
Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day HR operations such as compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, and performance management, while providing expert guidance on employee relations matters. The ultimate aim is to build a cohesive, high-performing workforce that supports the company’s vision and growth.
Job scope
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
· Support the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and ensuring timely and effective onboarding coordination by the HR Executive.
· Regularly review and update the onboarding deck as needed.
Employee Engagement
· Collaborate with vendors to organize employee wellness and wellbeing programs and talks.
· Coordinate and plan festive celebrations.
· Work with vendors to organize annual team building and annual dinner.
Compensation & Benefits
· Verify monthly payroll prepared by the HR Executive to ensure 100% accuracy and timely processing.
· Participate in the annual bonus and merit review exercise.
· Provide support for the Mercer survey.
· Review and recommend benefits packages that align with company objectives and market trends.
· Manage the insurance renewal process in collaboration with the insurance broker.
· Prepare HR-related reports and documentation, offering insights into HR metrics and trends.
· Assist in managing annual people costs to ensure adherence to the assigned budget.
Employee Relations
· Address employee inquiries, resolve workplace issues, and facilitate conflict resolution to maintain a
positive work environment.
Performance Management and Succession Planning
· Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
· Guide managers in setting SMART KPIs.
· Assist in calibration sessions for talent pipeline development.
Others
· Contribute to HR projects/initiatives to improve workplace culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Pay: From RM7,000.00 per month
