JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum qualification: Diploma in Food Technology, Chemical, Applied Science / Bachelor's Degree Food Technology or related course.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in QA/QC or Halal-related role (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Candidates with experiences handling Halal and HACCP are also welcome to apply.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform raw material, in-process and finished product inspections.
• Conduct product sampling and testing (Brix, pH, moisture, temperature, etc.).
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation and GMP practices on floor.
• Record and maintain QC reports and documentation.
• Handle non-conformance products and assist in corrective actions.
• Support internal, customer and regulatory audits (MOH, KKM).
• Ensure production process complies with Malaysia Halal Certification requirements.
• Maintain Halal Assurance System (HAS) documentation.
• Monitor suppliers’ Halal certificates and expiry dates.
• Assist in Halal application, renewal and audit preparation.
• Ensure proper storage and segregation according to Halal guidelines.
• Conduct basic Halal awareness training for staff.
