Job Description

Responsibilities

The Procurement Admin role is designated specifically for the IT Department and will primarily focus on managing the procurement of IT assets and software.

This position will be based at Tiong Nam Logistics in Kempas, Johor Bahru.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Prior experience in administration and procurement processes for IT assets is an added advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the capability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to multitask and maintain high efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, compare and evaluate multiple IT vendor quotations; maintain procurement records and support vendor selection to streamline purchasing activities.
  • Update and maintain accurate IT asset records, including software and contracts to ensure data consistency.
  • Generate and analyze reports on IT Service Management (ITSM) metrics, including procurement comparisons and asset utilization to support informed decision-making.
  • Assist in refining workflows and identifying inefficiencies within ITSM processes to enhance operational productivity.
  • Assist in assigning, categorizing and monitoring IT service requests to ensure timely resolution and efficient service delivery.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Procurement: 1 year (Preferred)
  • IT support: 1 year (Preferred)
