Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in project coordination including site surveys, tender documentation, and progress payment preparation.
- Monitor and inspect ongoing electrical, mechanical, and sanitary works (e.g., electrical rewiring, water pumps, fire protection systems, water pipes and tanks).
- Liaise with contractors and clients to ensure successful handover and takeover of switch rooms, MSBs, and M&E installations.
- Detect and troubleshoot faults or defects during project execution or client inspections.
- Ensure projects are executed according to plans and completed on schedule.
- Prepare simple electrical single-line diagrams and interpret technical specifications.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the engineering team.
- Recognized Diploma or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NiTEC holders with at least 2 years of relevant experience may be considered).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience preferred. Entry-level candidates with relevant qualifications are also welcome to apply.
- Knowledge in basic electrical and computer software applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
- Familiarity with Code of Practice SS638 and ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams is an advantage.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting skills in M&E and fire protection systems will be advantageous.
- Strong initiative, self-discipline, and ability to work independently.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment.
