Position : Software Engineer (C# .Net)

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 6,000

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

As a Software Engineer (C# .NET), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. You will work with both .NET Framework and .NET Core, integrating with databases such as MS SQL and Firebird. This role involves enhancing existing systems, developing new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Build new features and enhance existing systems based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Web Services for system integration.
• Optimize database performance and manage data integration with MS SQL and Firebird.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues to ensure application stability.
• Collaborate with team members in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.
• Maintain technical documentation for systems, features, and processes.
• Stay updated with .NET ecosystem improvements and apply best practices in development.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in C# and .NET development (including .NET Core and .NET Framework).
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs / Web APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL, including query optimisation and database design.
• Familiar with Firebird database is an added advantage.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
• Familiar with Agile development practices and tools such as JIRA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
