The center focuses on promoting equality in education by preparing children for successful integration into mainstream learning institutions. Through individualized education plans, RISE bridges competency gaps to instill confidence and nurture sustainable development. With a strong emphasis on understanding each child’s interaction with their environment, RISE leverages structured learning, play-based activities, and tailored teaching techniques to support children in reaching their full potential.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shadow Teacher at RISE, located in Petaling Jaya. The Shadow Teacher will support children with their educational and developmental needs, both in the classroom environment and during therapy sessions. Responsibilities include assisting with learning activities, enhancing communication skills, monitoring progress, and fostering each child's confidence to thrive in mainstream education settings. Collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families is also a key part of the role to ensure a comprehensive approach to early intervention.

Qualifications

  • Experience and proficiency in Lesson Planning and designing individualized instruction plans.
  • Background in Education, Teaching, and Training, with a focus on early childhood development and special education.
  • Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with children, educators, and families.
  • Patience, dedication, and genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs.
  • Knowledge of teaching techniques for children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder is an advantage.
  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
