Maybank is seeking a seasoned digital leader to drive the regional digital and platform strategy for Retail Brokerage across Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping best-in-class digital customer experiences, modern trading platforms, and scalable product solutions in a fast-evolving capital markets landscape.
You will partner closely with front office, operations, technology, and marketing teams to deliver customer-centric digital capabilities, while embedding agile ways of working and continuous product innovation across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the regional digital and platform strategy for Retail Brokerage across core ASEAN markets
- Define and deliver a strategic product roadmap, aligned with target customer segments and business priorities
- Drive end-to-end product development, from business case formulation through agile execution and rollout
- Establish and enhance customer feedback and data frameworks to inform continuous product improvement
- Ensure holistic solutioning that enables scalable, seamless customer experiences
- Keep ahead of market trends, digital innovations, and competitive brokerage offerings
- Partner with front office and business leaders to align product capabilities with commercial objectives
- Collaborate on go-to-market and marketing initiatives, including investor education tools for new and emerging segments
- Champion a customer-first mindset, strong governance, and Maybank’s values across teams and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Financial Services, with strong exposure to digital, product, or platform leadership
- Solid knowledge of financial products, particularly equities (additional asset classes an advantage)
- Strong front-to-back understanding of trading platforms, trade lifecycle, and market structures
- Proven experience in digital product development, product management, and agile delivery
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing brokerage and capital markets
- A customer-centric, analytical, and data-driven leader with strong commercial acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across senior management and technology teams
- A strategic thinker who is hands-on, progressive, and willing to challenge the status quo
