Job Description – Storekeeper
A Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing stock, and ensuring all items in storage are properly organized, recorded, and maintained in good condition.
Main Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Store items properly in designated storage areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and easy retrieval.
- Maintain accurate records of stock in and stock out transactions.
- Issue stock to relevant departments based on approved requests.
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of all stored items.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store/warehouse area.
- Assist in preparing inventory reports for management.
- Follow company procedures for inventory control and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of inventory or stock management is an advantage.
- Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel or inventory system) preferred.
- Physically fit to handle stock movement when required.
- Willing to work shifts or extended hours if necessary.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
