The Role: Critical Infrastructure Design & Strategy

This position involves leading the technical pre-sales and design lifecycle for mission-critical data center infrastructure projects. The focus is on developing robust, commercially sound solutions, specifically leveraging deep expertise in power (UPS, battery backup) and cooling systems. The architect will drive market penetration, ensure solution competitiveness, and act as the primary technical advisor to high-value clients

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and planning of comprehensive data center solutions, focusing on Critical Power (e.g., UPS, Lithium Battery) and Cooling Systems
• Provide field-driven insights to product teams and champion the development of scenario-specific solutions to enhance portfolio competitiveness
• Identify opportunities to penetrate new strategic accounts and markets by developing standardized, replicable solution packages for field teams
• Act as the primary technical liaison, managing the solutioning process from engagement through execution, and providing troubleshooting expertise
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to client executives, building a trusted advisor relationship

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the data center industry (consulting, planning, and solution design)
• Proven deep knowledge of Data Center Critical Power and Cooling systems (including UPS and Lithium Battery technologies)
• Demonstrable experience in developing, leading, and securing international/overseas projects
• Familiarity with key industry standards and specifications (e.g., Uptime Institute Tiers, TIA-942, and relevant IEC standards)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, coupled with excellent presentation and communication abilities
