We are seeking a dedicated SQL Database Administrator/Developer for a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia. The role involves managing, designing, and maintaining SQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and security. Responsibilities include writing and optimizing SQL queries, creating and managing database schemas, troubleshooting issues, executing backups, and maintaining system documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet database needs is also a key aspect of the role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL query writing, database design, and schema creation
• Experience in optimizing database performance and troubleshooting database issues
• Proficiency in database backup/recovery and maintaining data security
• Familiarity with data modeling and database architecture best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Additional skills in database technologies such as NoSQL or cloud database platforms are a plus
• Experience with tools for monitoring and maintaining database health and performance is advantageous
