Responsibilities

The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is dedicated to promoting kidney health and providing quality, highly subsidised dialysis treatment and holistic care to patients. We strive to be an advocate and integrator for the community, by the community.

While supporting kidney failure patients with quality dialysis and integrated care, NKF’s greater mission lies in preventing or delaying kidney failure through health education, deeper community integration, and strategic partnerships.

We are looking for passionate Dialysis Care Associates who wants to join the Foundation for an exciting career in healthcare. The incumbent is required to maintain standards of patient care while working with our Nursing team in providing patient care support at our Dialysis Centres.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to principles and practice of infection control, health and safety
  • Ensure equipment is clean, safe and in good working order and reports any defects to in-charge
  • Checking and calibration of equipment
  • Preparation of dialysis machine
  • Removal of medical consumables items from dialysis machine
  • Machine disfection/ Chair clean-up
  • Weekly cleaning of dialysis chair and machines
  • Assists with pre/post dialysis specifications: weight, temperature and other vital signs of the patient

Job Requirements:

  • Able to carry heavy treatment liquids (up to 5 kg)
  • Training will be provided for those without renal experiences
  • Our centres operates on 2 shifts on a 5-day work week from Monday to Saturday
  • Morning: 6.30am to 4.00pm/ Afternoon: 2.00pm to 11.30pm
  • Must be able to commit to shift work, Public Holiday and Saturday
