Job Summary

You will support offshore construction and installation activities by managing engineering, project planning, and coordination between teams to ensure timely and safe execution of offshore projects under senior leadership guidance.

Responsibilities

• Report functionally to the Senior Field Engineer or Construction Manager to align project objectives and execution strategies
• Manage engineering and project planning tasks including preparation, loadout of materials on barges, and development of installation procedures and aids to support offshore construction activities
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of construction spreads and provide technical services essential for offshore installation worksites
• Oversee installation work onboard construction vessels for topsides, jackets, and subsea pipelines, ensuring effective communication between project management, clients, and offshore construction crews
• Coordinate subsea pipeline pre-commissioning and testing instrument activities onboard vessels under senior supervision
• Ensure construction personnel fully understand and correctly apply installation procedures and that all project preparations are complete and accurate
• Respond promptly to resource requests from the Construction Superintendent or Barge Foreman to support subordinate teams
• Review project planning regularly to identify opportunities to improve completion dates during project implementation
• Monitor and report current project progress relative to planning, providing detailed explanations for any deviations from schedule

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a minimum bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline
