Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Development Team Lead to lead innovation across our food portfolio, focusing on instant noodles and beverages. This role oversees the end-to-end product development lifecycle, delivering high-quality, market-relevant products. The ideal candidate combines strong food science expertise with proven team leadership experience. You will shape product strategy, optimise formulations, and partner cross-functionally to meet consumer, regulatory, and business requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement product development strategies to create innovative, high-quality instant noodles and beverage products that align with market trends and consumer preferences
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product development professionals to foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, including ideation, formulation, testing, scale-up, and commercialisation
Optimise raw materials such as flours, starches, oils, flavours, sweeteners, and functional ingredients to achieve targeted taste, texture, cost, and nutritional profiles
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities within the instant noodle and beverage sectors to inform product innovation
Design and manage product testing, sensory evaluation, and validation processes to ensure consistent product quality
Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations to support product development goals
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to assess raw materials, enhance formulations, and secure reliable supply chains
Represent the company in engagements with external partners such as ingredient suppliers and manufacturing collaborators
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Nutrition, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant product development experience in the food industry with demonstrated team leadership capabilities
Strong technical knowledge of raw materials used in instant noodles and beverages, including their functionality and application
Proven skills in product formulation, process development, and commercialisation
Solid understanding of product development methodologies, food safety, and quality standards
Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and international partners
4 off days monthly, rest days depend on schedule
Competitive salary 3k and above

Requirements
Qualifications - diploma or high school diploma
Work experience- at least one year working experience in related fields
