Job Description
Responsibilities
o To support all sourcing & procurement processes and procedure in accordance with the company policies and ensuring purchases are correctly categorized and do not exceed monthly budget;
o Assisting your Manager to process Purchase Order, liaising with vendors for delivery schedule on a timely basis in accordance with the production plan;
o To ensure all items purchased are received in full of good quality and on time. Any discrepancies must be highlighted to the Plant Manager & Supply Chain Manager immediately;
o To ensure suppliers meet delivery deadlines and to ensure all related parties are informed about the status of the goods received from time to time;
o To ensure all parties follow the company’s purchase/requisition procedure & generate a purchase order on a timely basis when stock levels are running low without exceeding the allocated monthly budget (Inks, Plates, Consumable Items & etc.);
o To ensure all information and records are accurately maintained in particular in the system and to ensure all the requirements for GST are met;
o To generate monthly purchase report compared against monthly budget and submit to the management and ensure the requirements of the FSC COC Certification is met;
o Assist with supplier selection and evaluation in accordance with company procedure and request certificate/ documents from supplier in order to comply with our Quality & Food Safety requirements and Code of Conduct for Supplier;
o To ensure all Raw Material inventory is maintained properly and accurately, without any discrepancies;
o To be involved in stock verification and reconciliation on a monthly basis reconcile stock take data;
o Liaising with forwarders and the Finance Department in bringing with our raw materials (Papers) within the specified duration and that all customs and import clearance arrangement are done on time;
o Supporting your Manager with communicating & negotiating with all suppliers to initiate / assist cost reduction measures for company purchases;
o To assist your manager to develop and recommend policies and procedures to optimize warehouse capacity utilisation, inventory management to support production planning, purchasing and distribution activities;
o To comply with all company policies, procedures and regulations and take all necessary precautions to ensure product safety and quality is never compromised in the course of carrying out all your duties and tasks;
o Analysing processes and implementing measures which will effect continuous improvements to efficiencies and product quality, in accordance with Company’s Quality & Food Safety Policy as well as our Manufacturing Philosophy; and
o Carrying out all other related tasks as may be required or assigned by your Manager.
