Overview
The ideal candidate will be based in our Penang office and will support the planning, coordination, and execution of People & Culture events and engagement initiatives, including internal activities, trainings, career fairs, campus engagements, and corporate branding events, while providing support for HR operations and administration.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events, including staff engagement activities, trainings, townhalls, festive celebrations, MICPASS, and other firm events
- Support People & Culture initiatives such as career fairs, campus engagements, recruitment drives, and corporate branding events
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and venues to coordinate event requirements and ensure smooth planning and execution
- Manage event logistics, including registration, materials preparation, scheduling, setup, and on-site coordination.
- Support event-related communications, including email invitations, posters, internal announcements, presentation materials, and videos
- Track attendance, gather feedback, and prepare post-event insights or summaries.
- Assist in maintaining event calendars, timelines, and budget tracking
- Provide support in general office administration and HR operational matters as assigned
Education and professional skills/ knowledge
- Experience & Education:A recognised Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Event Management or any related fields
- Other skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Basic design skills such as Canva would be an added advantage
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage event-related tasks effectively
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to travel and work flexible hours when required for events and engagement activities
