Assistant Guest Relations Manager

temper. Wine Room & Lounge is seeking a dynamic, service-driven, and charismatic Assistant Guest Relations Manager to join our team. We are looking for a hospitality professional with a passion for guest engagement, nightlife culture, elevated dining experiences, and creating memorable moments in a vibrant late-night environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in nightlife venues, hotels, cocktail lounges, or semi fine dining establishments who thrive in fast-paced, guest-facing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional and personalised guest experiences from arrival to departure
  • Build strong relationships with guests, VIPs, and regular clientele to drive repeat business and loyalty
  • Support daily front-of-house and lounge operations to ensure smooth service execution
  • Handle guest feedback, special requests, and service recovery professionally and efficiently
  • Coordinate reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow during peak periods
  • Work closely with restaurant, bar, and sommelier teams to maintain service excellence and brand standards
  • Support event nights, activations, and late-night operations
  • Train and mentor front-of-house team members on guest engagement and hospitality standards
  • Maintain a polished floor presence and uphold the ambience and energy of the venue

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, nightlife, hotel operations, cocktail lounges, or semi fine dining environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident and professional presence
  • Passion for hospitality, guest relations, food & beverage, and nightlife culture
  • Ability to remain composed and solutions-oriented in a high-volume environment
  • Flexible and willing to work irregular hours, weekends, public holidays, and late nights
  • Familiarity with reservation systems (SevenRooms) and guest management platforms is advantageous
  • Well-groomed, proactive, and highly service-oriented

  • Experience handling VIP guests and high-profile clientele
  • Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and lifestyle-driven service
  • Energetic personality with the ability to engage guests naturally and professionally
  • Team player with leadership potential and operational awareness
