Overview
The Human Resource Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, payroll support, compliance, and HR administration. This role ensures alignment with Malaysian labor laws while supporting business objectives through effective people management practices.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment (job posting, screening, interviewing, onboarding)
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and job scopes
- Develop talent pipelines and recruitment strategies
Employee Relations
- Serve as point of contact for employee concerns
- Support disciplinary processes in compliance with Malaysian employment law
- Promote a positive and productive work environment through workforce engagement tools
Payroll & Compensation Support
- Assist in payroll processing and expense reimbursement, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Handle statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
- Maintain compensation and benefits records
HR Administration
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Manage leave, attendance, and HR systems
- Prepare HR reports and analytics
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and regulations (e.g. Employment Act 1955)
- Support development and implementation of HR policies and SOPs
- Liaise with government bodies when necessary
Training & Development
- Coordinate employee training programs and onboarding sessions
- Track training effectiveness and employee development plans
Ad-hoc Projects
- Lead or support ad-hoc projects
