Key Responsibilities
1. Student Discipline & Supervision
- Assist teachers in maintaining classroom discipline and management.
- Supervise and manage students in detention classes (Responsibility In Action) during mornings or afternoons.
- Help detain and counsel students at specified locations until a Discipline Master (DM) or committee member is available.
- Assist the Discipline Master and Operations Manager (OM) in handling and managing specific disciplinary cases.
2. Patrol & Movement Management
- Conduct regular patrols of school premises before, during, and after change of periods.
- Patrol the surrounding vicinity, including nearby shops and shopping centers, to manage student behavior outside school hours.
- Manage student movement and behavior during internal and national examinations.
3. Event & Holiday Support
- Maintain discipline during school functions (e.g., Speech Day, CCA Orientation, talks, and bridging programs).
- Support staff during school holidays, including term breaks and the release of national examination results.
- Assist in managing new students and parents during Secondary 1 registration.
- Accompany teachers during home visits to students.
4. Administrative & Operational Duties
- Analyze discipline data (e.g., late-coming or truancy) to identify at-risk students for intervention.
- Perform operational tasks such as fault reporting and asset or store management when discipline duties are not required.
- Carry out other administrative duties as assigned by School Leaders or the Administration Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Preferably a GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience handling teenagers in a school context is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis.
- Communication: Must communicate well in English with good interpersonal skills.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
