Job Summary
The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day retail operations, administration, procurement, inventory management, and event logistics. You will work closely with internal departments, suppliers (including overseas vendors), and logistics partners to ensure smooth operational execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Coordination
- Oversee daily retail operations and ensure workflow efficiency
- Coordinate across retail, marketing, finance, warehouse, and vendors
- Support implementation of operational processes and improvements
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Manage procurement of packaging, display, and operational supplies
- Liaise with overseas suppliers on production, orders, and timelines
- Track production progress, shipments, and logistics arrangements
- Resolve supply and delivery issues with vendors and forwarders
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock movement, replenishment, and records
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of jewellery/gemstones
Event & Logistics Support
- Support exhibitions, roadshows, and promotional events
- Coordinate event logistics, setup, manpower, and stock preparation
- Ensure smooth event setup and teardown
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare operational, inventory, and production reports
- Maintain documentation and stock reconciliation records
Team & Operational Support
- Support and guide junior operations staff
- Ensure timely completion of operational tasks
- Assist during peak periods and events
Quality Control
- Inspect incoming jewellery, gemstones, and stock for quality and accuracy
- Maintain proper storage and display standards
