Job Description

You will be leading end-to-end product development projects within a dynamic R&D environment. In this role, you will manage the full project lifecycle—from initiation through delivery—ensuring milestones are achieved on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will coordinate cross-functional R&D teams, collaborate with stakeholders such as PLM, supply chain, procurement, and quality, and oversee vendor relationships including ODM/JDM and SoC partners.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Lead end-to-end product development projects aligned with BBD roadmap, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, progress tracking, and milestone closure in accordance with Nokia PLC processes.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional R&D teams (across multiple DUs) for technical analysis, feature development, testing, and final delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with PLM, supply chain, procurement, and quality teams to manage project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Oversee and manage external partners, including ODM/JDM vendors, across product development, manufacturing, and delivery phases.
  • Manage SoC vendors to ensure timely delivery of SoC/SDK, issue resolution, and proper documentation.
  • Drive risk management and change control in complex and high-dependency project environments.
  • Take ownership of project timelines and customer commitments, ensuring expectations are met.
  • Handle customer-reported issues and defects in collaboration with TEC/CE teams and Maintenance PLM.

Key Skills And Experience

Must haves:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP and VoIP.
  • Technical background in hardware design, software development, or product testing.
  • Proven project management experience in end-to-end product development.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Experience in vendor and stakeholder management.

Nice to have:

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience in fixed access network R&D.
  • Proven experience leading projects with teams of 10+ members.
  • Global project management exposure.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors.
  • Exposure to AI tools, data/metric analysis
