The Building Management Systems Engineer (or Building Control Systems Site Resident Engineer) will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of building management and control systems on-site. This role ensures that M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems function efficiently, meet design specifications, and integrate seamlessly with the overall building automation system.

Job Description:

• Oversee on-site installation and integration of control systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.

• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of control systems and related infrastructure to maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Act as the primary liaison between contractors, design teams, and clients, facilitating effective communication and resolving technical issues related to control systems.

• Address and resolve technical challenges that arise during the installation and operation of control systems, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.

• Maintain detailed records of control system configurations, modifications, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to project stakeholders.

• Ensure all control system installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols specific to Malaysia's data center operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field

• 8-10 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably within data center environments or similar critical infrastructure projects

• In-depth knowledge of control systems, automation technologies, and data center infrastructure. Familiarity with industry standard software and tools used in control system design and implementation

• Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
