Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated PR strategies aligned with brand positioning, product lifecycle, and commercial objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive media, industry journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders; lead media relations to secure high-impact coverage
  • Plan and manage media engagements including press conferences, media test drives, vehicle launches, auto shows, and corporate events
  • Create and distribute high-quality communication materials such as press releases, media kits, executive speeches, and product narratives
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities; deliver actionable insights and PR performance reports
  • Lead crisis communication and issue management, including product recalls, safety concerns, and regulatory matters; provide strategic counsel to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, digital, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels, including dealerships and online platforms
  • Identify and drive opportunities for brand visibility through partnerships, sponsorships, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Support launches of new vehicle models and emerging technologies (e.g., EVs, autonomous driving) with strong PR execution
  • Coordinate with external agencies (PR, KOL, and content) to ensure seamless campaign delivery


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations, preferably within the automotive or mobility sector
  • Demonstrated experience managing PR activities for vehicle launches, auto shows, or automotive campaigns is highly advantageous
  • Strong network of automotive, business, and lifestyle media contacts at local and regional levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and crisis management capabilities
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
