Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Service Engineer to support the escalator team in operations planning, documentation, and coordination. This role focuses on ensuring smooth service delivery through effective scheduling, reporting, compliance tracking, and backend support.

Job Description:

• Prepare and manage service reports, maintenance records, and documentation

• Track and follow up on breakdowns, corrective actions, and outstanding issues

• Liaise with clients, building management, and internal teams on service-related matters

• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for escalator portfolios

• Monitor service timelines and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements

• Support submission of reports to authorities (e.g. BCA) and ensure compliance with regulations

• Assist in quotation preparation, service orders, and billing documentation

• Maintain proper filing and tracking of service reports, service orders, job documentation

• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for job execution

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in any Engineering field

• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in service coordination or operations; candidates without experience but with strong learning attitude and interest in operations are welcome

• Experience in lift/escalator industry is an advantage but not mandatory

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and accountability

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
