Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Gas Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3-year hands-on experience in oil and gas plant maintenance.

Knowledge in Facilities maintenance system and Local / International standards of oil and gas industry.

Sound knowledge of gas business.

Preferably holds Certificate of Competency as either Gas Supervisor or Gas Engineer.

Preferably Registered with B.E.M and I.E.M.

Operations - Supervise pipeline inspections and maintenance to ensure a safe and stable natural gas supply.

Maintenance - Manage maintenance of gas pipelines and facilities to keep them in optimal condition.

Emergency Response - Activate and coordinate the team during emergencies to ensure safety.

Troubleshooting - Supervise equipment breakdowns and fix issues based on guidelines to restore normal operations.

Resource Management - Organise daily tasks for operations and maintenance crews to maximise efficiency.

Supervision of Third-Party Jobs - Coordinate third-party work near gas facilities to prevent property and safety risks.

Store and Inventory - Manage spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and good working condition.

Special Assignment - Oversee pipeline construction, repairs, and modifications to ensure integrity and continuous supply.

Engineering Projects - Work with project managers on testing and commissioning new installations.

Meter Reading - Organise meter readings to meet customer satisfaction.

Budget and Manpower - Prepare and propose the annual budget and manpower needs for the branch office to meet operational requirements.

Liaison with Authorities & Public Awareness - Coordinate presentations to educate the public, authorities, and third parties on pipeline safety.

Safety - Implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

e-Procurement & JDE System - Update data in the system and manage purchase requisitions.

Office Administration - Ensure smooth administration for all branch offices, including filing and manpower planning.

Occupational Safety and Health - Comply with safety and health rules to ensure a safe working environment.

Information Security - Protect Gas Malaysia’s information assets and report any breaches to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
