The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class supply chain and procurement management capabilities and takes pride in ensuring optimized regional activities to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Global Procurement Leader – Technology & IT (Energy & Power Solutions), who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth supplier and customer contracts management in a complex manufacturing environment for Asia and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Global Head of Indirect Commodity Management based in Singapore, and this position will be focusing on the below:

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for Technology & IT Services across diverse facilities such as Commercial Offices, Product R&D Labs and Manufacturing Plants based in Asia and beyond.
• Identify and qualify global suppliers to optimally support organic growth and operations expansions for new build manufacturing facilities based in SEA region and beyond.
• Spearhead and lead strategic supplier negotiations, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Build long-term partnerships with a wide variety of suppliers to optimally support expansion commercial and manufacturing capabilities at the global level, including that of identifying opportunities to drive supplier consolidation, cost reduction, and value engineering initiatives.
• Lead cost benchmarking, should-cost analysis, and total cost of ownership evaluation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain or Engineering Management experiences in a complex and high volume Precision Manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework.
• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Procurement and Supply Chain Excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to regional/ global stakeholders involved.
• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
