Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform digital data intake and model preparation using internal software to ensure all 3D patient records are "design-ready" for the treatment planning phase.
  • Validate and audit patient records, including verifying correct tooth numbering and ensuring 3D dental arches align accurately with provided X-rays and intraoral photos.
  • Execute digital "touch-ups" and model cleaning, such as removing scan artifacts (e.g., saliva bubbles, soft tissue interference, or distorted mesh) to ensure the 3D models are structurally sound for clinical planning.
  • Manage technical staging and segmentation, ensuring individual tooth boundaries are correctly defined so that the ATD team can seamlessly initiate tooth movements.
  • Collaborate with the QC and ATD teams to flag any incomplete prescriptions or poor-quality scans early in the process, reducing overall turnaround time and ensuring high-quality baseline data.


Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in a dental-related or Engineering field (CAD / 3D focus).
  • Background in orthodontics or digital dental design is an advantage
  • Experience with intraoral scans, 3D dental models, or orthodontic workflows is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English. Mandarin language is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal design software.
  • Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a structured and team-oriented environment.


Salary Range

  • RM2,800 - RM3,000
