Interior Designer Company: Maxcis Niaga Sdn Bhd Location: Shah Alam, Selangor Employment Type: Full-Time Working Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Job Summary Maxcis Niaga Sdn Bhd is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team in delivering high-quality interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing interior design development from concept stage to execution, including space planning, design proposals, technical drawings, and 3D visual presentations. This role requires strong creativity, technical knowledge, and the ability to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing design solutions. Key Responsibilities *Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements, project scope, and budget *Prepare mood boards, concept proposals, and design presentations *Perform space planning and develop detailed layout plans *Produce technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings *Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility *Assist in material selection, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior detailing *Prepare and present design proposals for client approval *Conduct site visits for measurements, inspections, and project monitoring when required *Revise drawings and design work based on feedback from clients and management *Ensure all design deliverables are completed within timeline and quality standards Requirements / Qualifications *Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field *Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior design (fresh graduates may be considered) *Strong portfolio showcasing interior design projects and design development process (mandatory) *Strong understanding of space planning, design principles, and interior detailing *Proficient in AutoCAD for technical drawings *Knowledge in 3D software (SketchUp / 3ds Max / Blender or equivalent) is an advantage *Familiar with rendering tools such as V-Ray / Lumion / Enscape / D5 Render is an advantage *Able to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadlines *Creative, responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented Required Skills *Strong interior design and space planning skills *Ability to produce accurate floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings *Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting design *Proficient in AutoCAD (essential) *Basic to intermediate 3D visualization skills (added advantage) *Good communication and presentation skills *Strong time management and ability to work under pressure *Ability to coordinate with clients and project stakeholders Benefits *EPF & SOCSO *Annual Leave & Medical Leave *Performance Bonus (based on performance) *Career growth opportunity *Friendly working environment How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and portfolio to: ************* Subject: “Application for Interior Designer – Maxcis Niaga Sdn Bhd” Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
