Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen and chilled food products accurately and safely to designated locations according to delivery schedules.

• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining product integrity.

• Check, verify, and confirm orders before departure and upon delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of the refrigerated vehicle to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to maintain product quality.

• Work effectively in cold room environments, adhering strictly to safety and food quality standards.

• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support operational needs.

• Provide courteous and professional service to customers during all delivery interactions.

• Report any vehicle or delivery issues immediately to the office for timely resolution.
  

  Requirements

  • Possess a valid Class 3 (or relevant) driving licence.

  • Minimum of 3 years of on-road driving experience with a clean driving record.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, punctual, with a polite and professional demeanor.

  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual loading/unloading tasks.

  • Ability to plan routes effectively, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize deliveries.

  • Knowledge of vehicle safety, basic maintenance, and adherence to road safety regulations.

  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, vehicle cleanliness, and cargo handling.

  • Ability to work in cold room or refrigerated environments, if required.

  • Team player, able to cooperate with warehouse and logistics staff.

  • Forklift license or other relevant certifications is an advantage but not mandatory.
