RAiD (RSAF Agile Innovation Digital) is the digital innovation unit of the Republic of Singapore Air Force. We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer who excels at delivering end-to-end design, seamlessly blending visuals with deep product thinking. We're looking for a collaborative individual who can clearly articulate their design decisions and enjoys shaping impactful product experiences.
About Design Team
As a design team, we strive to shape meaningful product experiences by leading with user insights and design excellence — so that RAiD products are trusted, impactful, and valued across MINDEF.
What you will do
- Lead End-to-End Design: Lead design projects from discovery to final implementation, ensuring both business goals and user needs are met.
- User Research and Strategy: Define and lead qualitative and quantitative research and synthesise these complex insights and translate them into impactful solutions.
- Visual Design: Drive the visual design direction, creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed mockups to illustrate concepts and enhance desirability of product. Maintain and contribute to RAiD DS for consistency across products.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to strategically prioritize features, distinguishing between 'must-have' essentials and 'good-to-have' enhancements, to deliver high-quality products efficiently within an agile framework.
- Metrics: Define, track, and leverage key UX metrics to measure the effectiveness of design implementations and inform iterative improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of demonstrable experience in end-to-end product design, consistently delivering high-impact and scalable solutions for digital products.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design decisions to achieve common consensus and buy-in between the different stakeholders.
- Ability to proactively influence and shape the 'what' and the 'why' behind product and design strategy.
- Proven expertise in user research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and data analysis, leveraging insights to drive design decisions.
- Exceptional visual design skills, with the ability to establish and maintain visual consistency in product.
