HCLTech Hiring! Full Time Avaloq Developer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Support analysis, design, and solution workshops within assigned domain.
• Ensure consistent and complete requirement and solution coverage.
• Collaborate with Stream Leads and Business Analysts to scope changes.
• Challenge and think critically about business needs and solutions.
• Maintain functional and technical designs for new features or adaptations.
• Perform coding and unit testing for assigned work packages.
• Report progress, risks, and issues; escalate to lead developer/stream lead/project manager when needed.
• Serve as subject matter expert for specific areas and dive into requirement/solution gaps.
• Act as the primary contact for technical questions and provide support during workshops.
• Perform Unit Testing (UT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) during the testing phase.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by clarifying issues, reproducing defects, and implementing timely fixes.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Avaloq development.
• Expertise in Avaloq Core Platform modules including:
• IRT, CRT, Cost & Charges, Book Engine, Rule Engine, Finance.
• SDM modules: Client Management, CRM, Data Modeling, Reporting Desk.
• Technical modules: Security, Output, Batch & EOD, Anonymization, Report Writer.
• Interfaces: CAPI, AMI.
• Experience with SWIFT and FIX messages is a plus.
• Knowledge of general Avaloq modules like Reporting Desk, Preferences, and Security Access.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with managers and subject matter experts.
• Structured, organized, and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to prioritize shifting workloads.

Desirable (Good to Have):

• Experience with reporting modules and security configurations within Avaloq.
• Ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver actionable solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
