SDT Power Engineering Sdn Bhd (SDTPE) is seeking senior electrical engineer candidates with intrapreneurial capabilities who is eager to embrace the challenge of joining a young and growing electrical engineering consultancy company. You will work under the direct supervision and mentorship of a 500kV Energy Commission-certified Competent Electrical Engineer (CEE). Additionally, you will receive guidance from a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) with PhD qualification. We are committed to help you advance in your career by guiding you on the way to become a Professional Engineer (PEng).

Company Description:

SDTPE is an electrical engineering consultancy and services company. Our key business activities include EHV, HV and MV power system consultancy, power system studies, and electrical equipment asset management and testing services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute and coordinate the technical development of EHV, HV and MV substation and network designs, including drawings, specifications, schedules, bills of quantities, and related engineering documents in accordance with SDTPE’s standards, client requirements, and relevant international and national standards.
• Participate actively in technical discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, utilities, and authorities to support design coordination and resolve technical matters.
• Support and guide junior engineers and designers to ensure consistency in design quality and technical standards.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate technical deliverables prior to submission.
• Support project execution, testing & commissioning, and site technical activities when required.
• Fulfill assignments delegated by SDTPE's directors.

Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen
• More than 5 years’ of relevant experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Registered with BEM as at least a Graduate Engineer in Electrical discipline or in the process of registering with BEM.
• A valid D class driving license.
• Have your own vehicle.

Salary Range:

• RM 6,000 + allowances (after a 3-month probationary period).
• Candidates with relevant electrical engineering working experience will be offered a higher basic salary based on the number of years worked.
