Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and Video Editor (Advertising) to produce high-performing short-form video content for TikTok and other social platforms. This role requires strong editing skills, an understanding of advertising angles, and the ability to turn scripts into compelling, conversion-driven creatives. The ideal candidate understands TikTok trends, storytelling techniques, and performance-driven advertising content.

1.⁠ ⁠Creative Video Editing for TikTok Ads

  • Edit short-form videos for TikTok advertising, ensuring strong hooks, smooth pacing, and high retention.
  • Assist in producing advertising materials including short videos, images, captions, and motion graphics.
  • Apply text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and platform-appropriate elements to enhance viewer engagement.

2.⁠ ⁠Script Execution & Independent Creative Production

  • Translate scripts or directions provided by supervisors into polished ad-ready video creatives.
  • Independently plan creative scripts and complete full video production when required.
  • Ensure the final output matches the concept, message, and desired advertising angle.

3.⁠ ⁠Quality Control & Advertising Standards

  • Ensure all delivered videos meet TikTok advertising standards, platform policies, and company branding requirements.
  • Maintain consistency between visuals, subtitles, sound, pacing, and script.
  • Guarantee that all materials meet internal creative guidelines and export specifications.

4.⁠ ⁠Performance Optimization & Material Management

  • Understand creative performance metrics (CTR, CVR, VTR, CPC) and optimize videos accordingly.
  • Identify high-performing or underperforming materials and adjust editing strategies to improve results.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a high-quality creative material library for the advertising team.
  • Understand basic keyword optimization and contribute to material categorization.

5.⁠ ⁠Continuous Learning & Trend Research

  • Stay updated on TikTok trends, viral content formats, and competitive ad creatives.
  • Learn and apply basic design principles, typography, and platform-specific formatting.
  • Continuously improve video-editing skills to enhance content performance and ad quality.
