Position Overview
TE Connectivity is seeking a MGR II MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEERING for Data & Device BU with
location in Dongguan, CN. The MPDE Manager will lead a team of process development and
automation engineers tasked with developing assembly processes for high-speed cable assemblies and
coordinating with the Dongguan manufacturing engineering team on the transition to mass production.

Responsibilities:

1. Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports; review and provide timely
performance feedback to direct reports; mentor, develop and motivate them; help resolve
people/functional issues in the team to achieve targeted performance and retain key talent.

• Lead a team of engineers who will:

o Develop high speed cable assembly manufacturing process in accordance with LEANPD product development
o Drive for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods
o Strive to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control
o Support Product Development in the optimization designs (DFM) and piece parts for manufacturability; realizes sample tooling, product samples and prototypes.
o Design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE Data and Devices quality and production standards.
o Support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability.

• Act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering,
  ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface.
• Maintain communication with project management team to understand current and future
  strategic business needs
• Prioritize and time manage a portfolio of projects/work efforts based on criticality and business
  need
• Provide readouts to Director and VP level cross function management as necessary
• Work with Dongguan operations team to assign resources necessary for the successful
  execution of new product development
• Facilitate and coordinate cross-function communication across globally matrixed organization

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or above degree with mechanical/electric related majors.
2. At least 5 years related experience managerial level in multinational manufacturing site.
3. Familiar with Lean, Six Sigma. etc. industrial methods/tools.
4. With 2 years or above work experience in cable assembly in
