Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recovery Officer to join our team in the collection industry. As a Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the collection and recovery of outstanding loan accounts.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the collection and recovery process for non-performing loans
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize loan delinquency rates
- Conduct thorough analysis of borrower financial statements to assess repayment capabilities
- Liaise with borrowers to negotiate loan restructuring and repayment plans
- Collaborate with legal professionals to initiate legal proceedings, when necessary
- Monitor and track performance of recovery efforts and present reports to management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recovery activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Recovery Officer or similar role in the banking industry or sales and customer service
- SPM leavers are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and loan recovery processes
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct in-depth financial analysis
- Proficient in using financial software and tools
- Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
