QUALIFICATIONS & WORK COMMITMENT:
- Minimum 1–3 years' experience in billing or accounts (experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is an added advantage).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & SQL accounting software — daily data entry, ledgering, and system updates are core to this role.
- Willing to be hands-on in operations, including daily patient billing transactions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Manage the full billing cycle — prepare, issue, and follow up on patient invoices and billing records accurately in the system.
- Process and follow up on insurance and panel claims (GL, co-payment, reimbursements) in a timely manner.
- Handle patient payment collection and resolve billing-related enquiries professionally.
- Perform daily data entry, ledgering, and system updates in SQL to ensure records are current and accurate at all times.
- Execute daily closing procedures and ensure talliness of all transactions before end of day.
- Maintain complete and organised billing documentation daily — ensuring all records are audit-ready at any point in time.
- Support internal and external audit processes by ensuring documentation, filings, and records are always up to date and traceable.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and perform reconciliation and closing activities.
- Uphold SOPs and internal controls to safeguard financial accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with insurance panels, corporate clients, and internal departments as needed.
