Position: Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Security Operations

Salary Package

• Starting from RM7,500/month
• Final package commensurate with experience, qualifications, and track record
• May include performance bonuses, allowances, and other benefits

Job Summary

The AGM will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality security service delivery, managing personnel, and driving business growth. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and client management skills within the security industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee daily security operations across all sites
• Ensure deployment efficiency and compliance with SOPs
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements
• Handle incident management and escalation procedures
• Supervise operations managers, supervisors, and security personnel
• Ensure sufficient manpower planning and deployment
• Promote discipline, professionalism, and staff retention

2. Client Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• Address client concerns, complaints, and service feedback
• Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews
• Support contract renewals and client retention strategies

3. Business Development Support

• Assist in identifying new business opportunities
• Participate in tender preparation and proposal development
• Support pricing strategies and cost control measures

4. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with local laws, licensing, and security regulations
• Maintain proper documentation, reports, and audit readiness
• Implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies

5. Financial & Administrative Oversight

• Assist in budgeting, cost monitoring, and expense control
• Ensure operational efficiency and profitability of projects
• Prepare reports for senior management review

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in security operations or related industry
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing large security teams (100+ personnel)
• Background in law enforcement or military (added advantage)
• Familiarity with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.)
